T8 Hungary

The official Hungarian webshop for ultralight trail running gear, where payment, shipping, invoicing, inventory and the Google catalogue all run in one system: a custom Laravel webshop with connected services instead of manual admin work.

The starting point

T8's range is made up of many size and colour variants, stock arrives from two supplier warehouses and changes with the season. For a small team, every manual step (issuing an invoice, booking a parcel, tracking its status, updating stock) costs minutes per order and is a chance for mistakes.

So the goal wasn't just a good-looking shop: every step from order to delivery and bookkeeping should happen on its own, with the owner seeing everything in one admin.

Integrations

Six areas run connected behind the shop. What is live:

[01] payment

Six payment options

  • card payments via Stripe and SimplePay
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • cash on delivery and bank transfer
  • unpaid orders close automatically
[02] shipping

Foxpost and Magyar Posta

  • Foxpost home delivery and parcel lockers
  • Magyar Posta home delivery, PostaPont and lockers
  • pickup points and in-person collection
  • shipment status updates itself every half hour during the day
[03] invoicing

Billingo

  • invoices from the order, with no retyping
  • customer records created automatically
  • payment method mapped correctly on the invoice
  • invoices downloadable from the customer account
[04] inventory

Purchasing and stocktake

  • purchase invoices, by hand or CSV import
  • stock adjustments: write-offs, removals
  • stocktake summary
  • stock calculated from purchases, sales and write-offs
[05] google + analytics

Catalogue and analytics

  • Google Merchant Center sync: Shopping updates when a product is saved
  • GA4 e-commerce tracking via GTM
  • IndexNow, structured data, llms.txt
  • a public MCP endpoint where AI agents can query the catalogue
[06] automation

The customer journey

  • abandoned-cart reminders
  • post-purchase review requests
  • transactional e-mails, spam protection
  • withdrawal form, server checks twice a day

How

  • One system, many providers. Every integration lives in our own Laravel codebase with a Filament admin; no pile of plugins that falls apart on the next update.
  • Background jobs. Invoicing, e-mails, Google sync and status lookups run in a queue without slowing the shopper down; if a provider doesn't answer, the job retries.
  • Automatic, tested releases. Every change runs through tests first; after release the key pages are checked automatically and a notification goes out.
  • Backups and monitoring. Daily off-site backups, custom error pages, and alerts when something breaks.

Outcome

Every step from order to delivery and invoice happens on its own; the owner sees orders, stock and purchasing in one admin. The codebase proved itself well enough to become the base for other webshops: TE STÚDIÓ's shop is built on it too.
