The starting point
G8 is a ten-week group lifestyle programme. Participants keep a daily diary, log weekly measurements, follow lessons and videos, and buy the programme online. Previously this ran on several separate systems, each with its own login and its own data.
The goal was one system where everything, from purchase to the end of the programme, belongs to one account, and the team manages participants, content and orders from a single admin.
What we built

- automatic invoicing (Billingo), GLS shipping in Hungary and abroad

- content blocks editable from the admin
- technical SEO, structured data, fast loading
- legal pages and its own cookie consent
How
- One codebase, one database. Laravel and Livewire for the interfaces, Filament for the admin. A purchase automatically grants access to the right programme.
- Hosting in Hungary. The data lives in a Hungarian data centre, which matters for a health-related programme.
- Staged releases. Every change went to a test environment first and to production only after approval, even with a cohort running.
- Mobile first. Most participants log from their phone, so the interface is designed for small screens with large touch targets.
Outcome
The programme now runs on one system: participants buy, log and learn with one account, and the team sees orders, participants and content in one admin. New cohorts and products are set up from the admin, without a developer.
